The Rental

We got the rental done and we even found a great renter. I posted it on Craigslist and had 13 people in 2 days inquire about it.

Here are a few pictures so you can remember what it used to look like. These pictures were taken during the inspection.

The living room looking towards the bedrooms, the front door would be to the right, kitchen to the left.

Looking into the kitchen towards backdoor. Now we opened the wall to the living room, the fridge is next to the water heater and the oven is in the same place.

Bathroom with no sink but thankfully it had the plumbing for it.

The large bedroom, got to love the wood paneling.

Removing the old windows...disgusting they were.

Heath screwing in the new window...and the nice new front door.

Cleaning around the window was key.
With the final bedroom window. We had to special order the big picture window.

The new back windows, these windows didnt exist before, Heath cut out the holes for them and the nice new back door.

Looking into the kitchen from the front door...nice new window with so much new light and a great view.

The new window in the small bedroom...its no longer the black hole!

Installing the new bathroom fixtures.

The final product...looking from the front door into the kitchen.

looking from the front door towards the bedrooms...with real doors, previously there were blankets for doors!

The living room from the kitchen, still waiting for the special order living room windows at this point.

The kitchen with new floors, sink, counter, molding and beautiful window.

Looking into the kitchen.

Looking into the kitchen from the other direction...this opening was not there before, we opened up the rooms.

The big bedroom...much better then the paneling and orange curtin.

The nice big closet in the big bedroom.

The smaller bedroom.

Looking out the smaller bedroom.

Looking from the bedroom area into the living room...quite large at 14x26.

The bathroom, a new toilet and vanity.

Looking out of the bathroom.

Looking from the corner behind the front door, not too chabby! The carpet is a bit wavy in a few spots but what do you expect when there is concrete under it.

The final look with the new front window...all they need is the final trim around the windows but what a difference!
