WE MOVED!!!!!!

Granite was installed on Friday and it looks awesome, we have a working kitchen faucet now...oh its the little things.

Uncle Don & Aunt Sharon came this past weekend and kicked some more ass. All the outlets, switches, trim and lights were all finished and it looks so beautiful. We also have a working mirowave and stove.

Aunt Sharon did so much cleaning that really needed to be done, so wonderful to come and help. We cant thank them enough for all they have done for us...THANKS!

Heath's Mom came over on Sunday and her and Sharon tag teamed the windows, you can actually see through them now and the view is much much better!

Heath had to go under the house to connect some wires and by his gesture he really enjoyed it!
Today we moved in with the great help of Amber and Ryan...THANKS!!! We are spending our first night in our new house and are so excited! Thats all for now :o)

Chickie Chickie Baulk Baulk

We finished the chicken coop (with the help of Barb...thanks) just in time for our chickens last week...Happy Anniversary to us!

The inside of the coop with their nests and their rosting area...all those boxes and they like to share and use certain ones, silly girls.

Here are our girls...the black ones are "blackie" the reds "Reds" and the gold one "Goldie". They are so funny and quite social...one of the black ones is the queen of the coop and always curious of what I am doing and whats in my hands.

This is our first dozen eggs and so far in one week we have gotten 2 dozen plus 3 eggs, they are so fun!
Another great thing is we finally have a toilet...yeah and it even has a button for #1 and a different button for #2!

And the final wood floors, dont the look great!!!!!!!
THANKS RANDY :o)

The hall way, we now need to get some nerf bowling sets since we have a perfect bowling lane!

Here Comes the Kitchen and Carpet

Heath installing the kitchen cabinets. Granite to be installed this week. Note my spelling sucks...I dont teach spelling:o)

The above cabinets installed now just the lower to be added.

My mom and Randy came this past weekend and Randy installed the carpet in all the bedrooms, he is a machine.

Randy also put down the wood floor, Heath was his helper for the day. Randy worked so hard and they didnt leave until 1am Monday morning

My mom prepped the floors for the wood.

Tiling the Bathroom Floors

The nicely painted rental...now we just have to replace the windows, the doors, install carpet, vinyl floors, lights, bathrooms and a kitchen...not much at all!

Heath preping the bathrooms for the tile, getting the wonderboard down.

Rented a tile cutter to do the floors, it was very fun to use.

Laying the tile floors in the bathrooms.

The final product, not too bad for my first tile floors.

Paint Away

The rental beautifully painted, new windows and doors are next.

All the trim for the main house and rental that was sprayed...so fast!

And the painting begins, one room down with 7 to go.

My mom came over to help paint...I rolled and she cut in (which I hate doing so big thanks for doing that), the edge at the ceiling is perfect...you will have to admire when you come check the house out.

11pm Sunday night finally done painting after a 14 hour painting day...I know you are sad you missed out!

Watch out...the Roninator is Armed

Yeah, I dont know what happened but I found the pictures so here Ron is spraying the main house.

Watch out, the Roninator is armed!!!

Spraying the rental...we did all one color, walls and all.

Rental after the spraying, so much better and actually looking livable. We are going to post it this week so hopefully we get some people in there, having horses should help renting it.

Painting the outside of the rental, so much better!!!

Primed & Ready to Go!

Well we finally have a house on the inside! The drywallers finished last week and the Roninator (Heath's Dad) came this past weekend and we rented a sprayer and he and primed the entire house and sprayed the ceilings and closets white. I took pictures of Ron spraying although something happended to my camera and I lost a bunch of pictures...anoying! Above is the dining nook.

Amber & Ryan to the rescue!

Got some cabinets for the bathrooms at Ikea, thank goodness for Amber and Ryan...I would have been there all day and eventually pulling my hair out. They are the shiznit and saved the day!

Amber was the hindge wizard, for some reason she could clip them together in a snap and Ryan was awesome getting the cabinets together and interpreting the Ikea directions.

Putting the texture on, very exciting!

Mud, Mud and More Mud

The patchwork in the back bedroom.

The master...lookin good!

Working on the chicken coop, took down the right side of the wall and making it smaller...5 chickens dont need that much room.

Working on the rental, Heaths mudding, taping and patching away.

Mud, mud and more mud!

A New Face

We have a new face to the house, the custom front door came and Doug came over on Saturday in installed it and moved the slider to the dining room nook. It looks so awesome and gave the house a new look, thanks Doug!

The drywall has been installed and its really looking like a house although it looks smaller now since we cant see through all of the walls...have to get used to that again. Above is the kitchen.

The dining nook with the new slider which brings in so much light, its fabulous.

The living room.

Smaller bedroom, so exciting!
